Barefoot by Design
Barefoot shoes bring footwear closer to the shape and movement of your feet. More space at the toes. A level platform. A sole that bends.
Let toes be toes.
A wide toe box leaves room across the forefoot instead of narrowing around the toes. The aim is space to spread and move within the shoe.
Start on level ground.
Zero drop means the heel and forefoot sit at the same height. It describes the difference between those two heights, not how thick the entire shoe is.
Make room for movement.
A flexible sole bends with the foot rather than holding it on a rigid platform. Outsole thickness and flexibility are different characteristics; both matter when you compare footwear.
The Galvanic has a flexible 4 mm outsole. This is not a measurement of the total stack height, which includes the layers beneath your foot.
Movement meets connection.
Toe space, zero drop, and flexibility do not establish conductivity. The Galvanic adds GroundSynapse™ conductive construction to its barefoot design. Ground contact still depends on the complete pathway and the surface beneath you.
